Cooking Operative 4 on 4 off, Grimsby

13.87 per hour (50p additional per hour between the hours of 10pm and 6am)

We are recruiting Cooking Operatives to join the Grimsby Recipe Dish site, the sole supplier of fresh and chilled ‘best in class’ soups predominantly for M&S. This purpose‑built site employs around 200 people and turns over £30 million. It is a fast‑paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same, making it an exciting place to work.

• Load the cooking vessel with raw materials at the relevant stages throughout the cook.
• Ensure CCP cook procedures are met and conduct end‑of‑cook quality tests, reporting any out‑of‑specifications to the Area Leader and Quality team.

• Previous experience in food production or a similar environment is preferred.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Basic English and Maths skills.
• Computer knowledge would be an advantage.
• Shift pattern: two days (06:00‑18:00), two nights (18:00‑06:00) with four days off.

• Overtime at 1.33% after completion of rostered hours for the week.
• Additional 50p per hour between 10pm‑6am.
