• Location: Field Based – North Yorkshire
• Employment Type: Full time, permanent
• Salary: £30,230 (based on an average 40 hour working week)
• On Target Earnings: Up to £44,000 for top performers
• Start Date: 13th July 2026

Programme Overview

• Duration: 18‑month journey covering latest automotive technologies
• Mentorship: Pairing with a seasoned patrol expert for one‑on‑one guidance
• Real‑world Experience: Practical on‑the‑job experience
• Certification: IMI and EV certifications awarded
• Work base: Starting and finishing work on your driveway (paid from van to home). Sign‑on locations available for discussion.
• Flexible standby hours chosen each year to suit your lifestyle
• Equipment: Van, full uniform, boots, and best available equipment provided

Required Experience and Skills

• Some experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, and customer service
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less. Category BE (towing) will be funded if not held.
• Willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle maintenance and repair services on the job
• Offer excellent customer service, ask the right questions, explain fixes, and ensure customers can get on with their day
• Work as part of a patrol team, ready for any situation in any weather
