Full-Time, Permanent (Job Share Considered) A friendly and supportive law firm in Harrogate is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor or CILEX professional to join its collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned private client practitioner who enjoys handling a varied caseload, building strong client relationships and delivering a compassionate, high-quality service. The Role: You will manage a broad range of private client matters including: Probate and estate administration Taxable and non-taxable estates Preparing IHT forms and dealing with HMRC requirements Drafting Wills, including more complex estate planning arrangements Advising on trusts, business assets, blended families and second marriagesLasting Powers of Attorney and occasional Deputyship matters Supporting clients through sensitive and often emotional situations with professionalism and empathy ?? About You: Qualified Solicitor or CILEX professional Ideally 5+ years PQE, although strong technical experience will also be consideredConfident managing private client matters independently Strong knowledge of IHT, CGT and trust taxation STEP qualification highly advantageous Experience with probate software beneficial Strong communication and organisational skills Able to support and work collaboratively with wider team members??
