Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the accounts department by managing financial data, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Duties

• Assist with monthly payroll across for the group
• Assist with group quarterly VAT returns
• Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Perform general administrative tasks related to finance support as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience with accounting Sage 50 and Sage Payroll
• Familiarity with excel to an adequate level
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and financial services industry standards
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Previous experience in an administrative or finance support role within the hotel industry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
