Senior Associate / Head of Commercial Property Department

Are you an experienced Commercial Property solicitor ready to take the next step in your career? An innovative and growing legal practice is seeking a dynamic professional to lead and develop their Commercial Property team.

About the Role

• Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial property matters, including freehold and leasehold transactions, acquisitions, disposals, lease extensions, and renewals (for landlords and tenants).
• Handling development work, site setup, due diligence, and financing/refinancing projects.
• Conducting thorough due diligence, property searches, and title investigations.
• Advising landlords, tenants, developers, and investors on legal rights and obligations.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and property law.
• Drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts and business advisory work.
• Supporting strategic growth through client development, referrals, and cross-department collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• 6‑8+ years PQE
• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with strong industry experience.
• A strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Proven experience working with landlords, tenants, developers, and lenders.
• Commercially minded with a clear understanding of business drivers.
• Leadership potential, confidence, and a proactive, dependable approach.
• Passion for mentoring and developing a strong team.
• Ambition to grow into a senior leadership role and shape the future of the department.
