HGV Class 2 Driver, Haslingden

Proactive Personnel are currently looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to start work on a permanent basis in Haslingden, Lancashire.

Duties include:

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles, Confidence in the transportation of goods.
• Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the lorry is in safe working condition.
• Tramping work depending on the routes
• Plan routes efficiently to optimise delivery times while adhering to legal driving hours.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

• Full UK Category C licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• Minimum 12 months driving experience
• Knowledge of driver hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
• Professional and customer-focused approach

Start times vary from 05:00am. 40hrs per week, although an average week could be up to 60hrs per week.
