There are 51 spacious and comfortably furnished rooms offering superb general nursing care. All rooms are equipped with TV and DVD, telephone points, a nurse call system and an adjustable automatic bed with a control handset for additional comfort.In addition, the Hazel Wing offers a self-contained 16-bed unit for people experiencing dementia in all its forms, with a trained team providing specialist expertise to care for people whose symptoms make their lives particularly challenging If you have the right skills and experience, have drive, commitment and are seeking a new exciting challenge then why not become part of our team. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years proven track record of successful care home management, a relevant professional qualification, ideally a qualified RGN/RMN, good knowledge of care standards, CQC Policies and Procedures compliance, strong leadership and effective management skills with ideally a Management qualification. As a Home Manager you must also have the ability to understand and evaluate complex situations and use a holistic approach to problem solving, a good knowledge of financial / budget controls and be able to demonstrate a high commitment to customer focus and continuous improvement within the Home.
