Waste / Recycling Operative, Hatfield

Our client isseeking a reliable and hardworking Waste / Recycling Operative to join theirteam.

Additional Information

• There are two working sites, and the client will confirm which location you will be based at prior to your shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and separate recyclable and non-recyclable materials
• Identify and remove contaminated or hazardous waste
• Assist with loading and unloading materials
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Follow all health and safety procedures and wear PPE provided
• Work efficiently to meet daily operational targets
• Support team members and supervisors with general site duties

Requirements

• Good level of physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in waste management or recycling is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided
• You must be a driver with your own vehicle
