Support Worker's - Snr Adult Carer's, Hatfield

Welcome to Home Instead, Welwyn & Hatfield Office. We are now seeking a number of people to join our team of care professionals, with days, evenings and weekends available to those successful candidates.

• To live in or near Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Potters Bar and Borehamwood.
• A full UK driving licence and your own car.
• Availability for at least 3 days per week + alternate weekends.
• The Right to Work in the UK (we are not licensed to offer COS or SWAP).

The role in a nutshell.

• Personal Care (washing, dressing, daily routines).
• Companionship (conversation, activities, meaningful time).
• Meal preparation (simple, nutritious meals).
• Light home help (keeping areas tidy after tasks).
• Medication support (as trained and per care plan).

Pay, benefits and stability:

• £13.30 - £14.30 per hour + double time for Bank Holidays.
• Paid travel time at same rate.
• Enhanced weekend rates (alternate weeks).
• Paid training at same rates, e-learning and workshops.
• Travel mileage £0.30 to £0.45 per mile.
• Local visits (usually a 10 to 15 minute drive).
• Minimum 1-hour visits and consistent clients.
• No set shifts, we work to your availability (both start and end times).
• EAP in place to assist with any housing, debt, legal problems etc.
• Rota's issued every Friday.
