About Us

Live Fibre Ltd is a growing, young, and energetic team of telecommunications engineers. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Fibre Splicer who can operate independently and deliver high–quality work consistently. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge across BT PON builds and CF networks, with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently reliable and punctual

• Fully independent splicer capable of working without supervision

• Strong understanding of BT PON build; CF experience preferred

• Skilled in preparing fibres up to 288f

• Able to complete 150+ splices per day

• Capable of completing a 288f joint within 2 days

• Well-versed in FAS, PFA, SLD, and all fibre-related documentation

Qualifications and Experience

· Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in fibre optic OH/UG cabling installation and maintenance.

· NRSWA (Street Works), SA001/SA002 or equivalent certifications preferred.

· Knowledge of fibre installation techniques including overhead and underground methods.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and network schematics.

· Experience working with fibre blowing machines, winches, and cable hauling equipment.

· Full UK driving licence

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
