Bank Chef at Glebe House, Southbourne

We are looking for a Bank Chef to join the team at Glebe House in Southbourne. The role involves delivering high‑quality fresh, home‑cooked food and supporting residents and their families to meet dietary needs.

• Prepare, cook and serve meals for residents and others as required, in a timely manner.
• Provide a varied diet, catering for cultural preferences of service users.
• Coordinate food for celebrations and other events in the home.
• Order supplies within the catering budget and company policy, using approved suppliers when senior cook is absent.
• Maintain accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP.
• Participate in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and local authorities.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Welfare.
• Manage the catering team.

Salary: £17.44 per hour.

Working Hours: Bank 0-hr contract. As/when required.
