This role would suit candidates with experience working in industries related to acoustics, ventilation or similar. The Applications and Proposals Engineer position is predominantly an internal role, focused on the development and presentation of technical business proposals. You will lead and take ownership of the enquiry to quote process, responsible for defining solutions, producing initial hand sketches / designs, preparing estimations and quotations.The Applications and Proposals Engineer Role:· Take ownership of inbound enquires from receipt to quotation · Review of specifications, drawings and requirements · Development and presentation of proposals that meet or exceed customer criteria · Acoustic and ventilation calculations to define compliant solutions· Collaborate with engineering, design and supply chain · Development of relationships with new and existing accounts · Updating CRM database – working with Salesforce The Applications and Proposals Engineer Candidate: · Experience in a similar role – applications, proposals, or technical sales· Background in capital equipment such as HVAC, air movement, power generation or similar · Experience preparing technical quotes and proposals TPBN1_UKTJ
