Weighbridge Operator, Abbots Langley

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Operate the weighbridge and accurately record weights of incoming and outgoing vehicles and paying out customers
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and generate reports as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers and visitors
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, taking phone calls
- Arrange recovery collections, advise on prices, work out routes, and make phone calls to customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in this is a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong organizational and time management skills
