Vehicle Progressor, Taunton

Basic Salary: £28,089.10 + Excellent Company Benefits

We are currently recruiting a Vehicle Progressor to join our successful and fast‑paced team at Vertu Land Rover Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring every vehicle meets our high preparation and presentation standards before going on sale.

As a Vehicle Progressor, you will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end preparation of vehicles, ensuring each one is ready for sale within 72 hours of arrival and meets Vertu group standards at every stage.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out initial cosmetic inspections when vehicles arrive on site
• Coordinating all aspects of vehicle preparation, including:
  • Wheel refurbishment
  • Paint and trim repairs
  • Valeting
  • Photography for online advertising
• Assisting the Sales Manager with vehicle descriptions and verbatim comments
• Quality checking vehicles once preparation is complete
• Managing vehicle logistics, including movements between dealerships and preparation sites
• Supporting the smooth organisation of vehicles ready for sale

Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. What’s most important is your attitude, attention to detail, and ability to stay organised in a busy environment.

• Holds a full UK driving licence (vehicle collection and delivery may be required)
