DBS Commis Chef, Hinckley

Commis Chef - Hinckley - Term time only

We are recruiting for a Commis Chef to join a prestigious independent school based in Hinckley, you will be working term time only for a leading Contract Catering company within the Education Sector of the Catering Industry.

Key Information:

* Salary: 14.00 per hour

* Hours: Mon - Fri, Term time only

* Location: Hinckley

* Contract: Temporary

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

* Provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service in the school

* Helping chef to cut and prepare food

* Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen

* Work alongside the kitchen team

Required skills include:

* A basic understanding of produce and ingredients

* Embrace new ideas and processes

* Positive and approachable manner

In order to be successful, you'll need to have:

* Experience working in a similar environment / role

* Ability to follow instructions

* High Standards of hygiene

* Enhanced DBS
