Cleaning and Waste Operative, Hinckley

Salary: £13.88 per hour

Hours: 11 hours per day

Shift pattern: 7 pm to 7 am, 4 on / 4 off

Contract: Permanent

In your new role as a Cleaning and Waste Operative, you will work within a warehouse environment as part of the cleaning and waste team. Duties include:

• General cleaning and tidying of all warehouse areas, including washrooms and canteens
• Using appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and products
• Ensuring all equipment is kept clean, well‑maintained and in safe working order
• Reacting quickly to client call‑outs and complying with all Health & Safety legislation and policies
• Managing waste disposal

• Flexible approach to the role and comfortable working as part of a team
• No experience necessary – full training will be provided
• Required to complete a Basic Disclosure Check and may be required to undertake a drug and alcohol screening test
