The role

You’ll lead a small, experienced legal team while acting as the lead lawyer in either Planning, Property or Commercial contracts. Alongside your own caseload, you will:

• Advise on corporate and governance matters
• Support major projects and development work
• Attend senior meetings and committees
• Mentor and develop junior staff
• Help shape a more resilient, future-ready legal service

• Qualified solicitor (planning, property, or commercial)
• Strong technical grounding and sound judgement
• Interested in stepping into a visible leadership role
• Open to broadening beyond your specialism
• Organised, pragmatic, and collaborative
