You will contribute to the innovative research on the European cultural heritage and the cultural and creative industries within the EC HORIZON project"RELISH: Re-Imagining European Gastronomy Legacy Through Innovation Sustainability and Heritage", which offers a pathway to put into practice culinary recipes and food culture as cultural and digital tools to strengthen EU's common cultural heritage through an innovative and systematic approach to the understanding and use of traditional EU recipes via digital and AI-powered technology.

** Responsibilities- We are seeking a motivated researcher to develop innovative prediction systems and apply advanced data science and machine learning techniques to specialised culinary datasets. The role involves preprocessing structured and unstructured data, optimising classifiers, and enhancing data collection processes to support robust analytics.

** Person Specification- We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a PhD (or equivalent) in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related discipline. The successful applicant will have an internationally recognised research profile aligned with the focus areas of the Artificial Intelligence Research Centre (CitAI: supported by a strong track record of high-quality publications in leading venues. The role requires excellent organisational skills, with the ability to effectively deliver outputs within large, complex projects.
