Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Engineer Location: Horsham Salary: Up to£40,876 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 17:30 Job Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs quickly Support installation work and minor maintenance on plant equipmentMaintain high levels of equipment availability and performance Assist in developing maintenance schedules and continuous improvements Liaise with contractors and internal teams to minimise downtime Ensure compliance with health&safety and company procedures What Were Looking For: Minimum 2 years experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Fitter role (or similar) Experience working in an operational or plant-based environment (e.g. waste, water, manufacturing) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdownsA proactive and team-focused approach Benefits: Ongoing training, development, and career progression opportunities Generous pension scheme Retail, leisure, holiday, and travel discounts Life assurance TPBN1_UKTJ
