Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Colgate Primary School, West Sussex

We are running a successful group in school for our children with an Education, Health and Care Plan. The group is based in the heart of the school and is supported by our excellent teaching assistant team. We are looking for a member of staff to work with our children and to liaise with their teachers and the SENCOs regarding their learning and emotional support. You would lead their provision each morning, plan and assess their next steps as part of the team working with the children.

Within our school, we have a strong focus on inclusion for all children. We are looking for a candidate who is focused on building strong relationships with our children as this is the basis of all our partnerships. • 20 hours per week
• Monday to Friday 8.30 to 12.30pm – starting September 2026 (term time only)
• NJC PayScale Grade 8 (point 20-24) £32,597 - £35,412 – salary will be pro‑rata for part time.
