PRIMARY PURPOSE

To strengthen the development and performance of the DOOA Beauty portfolio by combining strong product knowledge with marketing execution.

This role supports product development, brand positioning and marketing initiatives across the business, helping translate market insights into clear marketing and product strategies.

The Marketing Executive will act as a product specialist, helping the business understand market trends, product performance and consumer needs, while supporting marketing campaigns and brand growth.

KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS

  • Quality and relevance of market and consumer insights provided.
  • Contribution to product development and product portfolio reviews
  • Identification of market opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Quality of marketing materials, product storytelling and launch support.
  • Accuracy and organisation of product information and documentation.
  • Effective collaboration with marketing, sales and operations teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as an internal product expert across DOOA Beauty portfolio.
  • Research consumer behaviour, preferences and market trends within the beauty and haircare industry to identify product development opportunities
  • Analyse competitor products, positioning and pricing to identify potential gaps or opportunities within the DOOA portfolio
  • Analyse and synthesise market and consumer insights to support product development and marketing strategy
  • Support evaluation of new product opportunities based on consumer demand and market trends
  • Support analysis of product performance across markets and sales channels.
  • Assist with photography/creative briefs to ensure accurate product representation.
  • Collaborate with digital/e-commerce team to ensure product accuracy on websites and digital channels.
  • Contribute to product messaging, storytelling and positioning based on market and consumer insights
  • Monitor beauty and haircare trends (ingredients, textures, routines, social media trends, category shifts).
  • Provide product insights and information to support marketing campaigns, launches and internal briefings
  • Contribute ideas and explore opportunities for product focused brand activations and consumer engagement.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within FMCG, beauty, cosmetics or consumer goods industries
  • Experience in product marketing, product analysis or category analysis is highly desirable

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends
  • Ability to translate data into insights and recommendations
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills
  • Confident communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint etc.,)
  • Creative thinking and ability to contribute ideas to product positioning and storytelling
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of FMCG market dynamics

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £20,200.00-£26,588.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
