Cook, HD5

BDS are recruiting for a cook for a sheltered housing setting in the HD5 Area of Huddersfield, the position is temporary on a ongoing contract. You will work Ad Hoc shifts, including aftertoons and weekends. The role -Catering for elderly residents with special diets -Fresh home cooked lunch -Freshly made homemade cakes . -Looking after menu plans and special dietary requests. Experience -Classic style care home/ sheltered housing cook required. -Able to work weekends. -At least two years of providing meals to family or within care home. -Knowledge of a professional kitchen -Fresh food background - Health and Safety Certificate -Dietary requirements Certificate. -Good knowledge of stock rotation.
