Senior UX Designer, Elland

From our headquarters in West Yorkshire we are revolutionising workplace safety by developing mechanical, electronic and software products and need a Senior UX Designer to join us in the next stage of our innovation strategy. Reporting to the Lead UX Designer and being a member of the Innovation & Development Design Team, you will be responsible for contributing to UX design projects and creating end-to-end detailed designs (such as experience maps, wireframes and interactive prototypes) by collaborating with users, customers and stakeholders. How Can You Help Us * Support and collaborate with lead designer. * Familiar with wireframing and prototyping tools (sketch, XD, invision etc). * Familiar with user researching and testing techniques and processes. * Determine information architecture, conceptual models, interaction design, user journeys etc. * Running user testing of applications, software and websites. * Running and Facilitating workshops. * Keep up with current design trends, tools and UI/UX best practices. What We Would Like You to Bring to Our Team * Proven experience as a UX Consultant, UI Designer or similar. * Strong portfolio of design projects demonstrating your design thinking. * Empathetic approach to understanding and identifying customers pains. * Self starter / autonomous. * Have a design thinking approach to all aspects of work. * Passionate about design. * Confident in gathering user insights, identifying future technologies and translating these into meaningful solutions. * Excellent communication skills. * Experience in generating and presenting creative ideas and solutions.
