LGV Class 1 Drivers, Huddersfield

We are currently looking for Category C+E – Class 1 LGV Drivers to join us working alongside prestigious clients based throughout the Kirklees areas of Huddersfield, Brighouse, Holmfirth and Meltham. These roles are for temporary and ad‑hoc bookings assisting clients covering holiday, sickness and increases in business demand. Most clients are looking for a minimum of 1 year’s worth of experience on this entitlement.

• Trunking work, curtainsiders, flatbeds and tail lift experience
• Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off
• Ensure that the vehicle and its cargo get to their destination safely
• Liaise with customers at the point of delivery
• Some nights out may be required; if this is an issue day work can be offered

These roles may also include non‑driving duties such as loading and unloading the vehicle; therefore candidates should be comfortable with lifting and demonstrate safe loading. Experience is highly regarded but not wholly essential.

• Possession of a Cat C+E (Class 1) UK driving licence
• Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Right to work in the UK
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor traffic offences

• 8 hours minimum daily guaranteed
• £15.25 basic
• £20.30 overtime
• £17.15 nights
• Holiday pay accrued
• Wages processed through PAYE
• Auto enrollment into a pension through NOW Pensions
