Due to expansion, the company now requires an outstanding, dynamic, and innovative IT Systems Software Developer and IT Support Officer. The ideal candidate will provide ongoing improvements, maintenance and development of in-house systems, both bespoke and non-bespoke, throughout the company. The role is ideal for a graduate or keen developer who wishes to build on their current skill set, while adding new ones, with a view to taking over the existing managers role. This opportunity therefore really does offer excellent training and progression. The position can be diverse and cover many aspects of Information Technology throughout the company and will also include end user support and training. JOB ROLE (not limited to): To provide ICT user support (hardware/software) in a windows environment, either face to face or over the telephone; To install & maintain all hardware/software within the organisation. To have a good working knowledge of the Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments. To provide continued development and maintenance of current and new Apps within an object-oriented, high-level programming language. Possible Ad hoc Web site development for internal and external websites which may require familiarity with languages such as HTML, PHP, ASP.NET Database administration using Microsoft SQL & MYSQL To identify potential new technologies that would benefit the business and improvements in the functionality and use of existing systems. To achieve high performance of IT services to meet the evolving needs of the business ensuring satisfied internal and external service users. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: As the position is for a mid-sized organisation the individual will need to possess the ability to provide expertise across a whole range of systems Excellent Communication/Customer Service Skills An eye for detail and passion for quality. Familiar with Microsoft Office, Access and Crystal reports SQL, TransactSQL, Object Orientated programming skills Capability in Hardware and software maintenance & support Some Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, PHP, & ASP.NET SQL Management & maintenance ? Microsoft SQL & MySQL.
