Senior Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer, Kingston Upon Hull

Senior Civil / Structural Engineer - Required for our client based in their offices in Hull. The Senior Civil / Structural Engineer will be working for a company that operate within a number of sectors including Steelwork, Rail, Power, Oil and Gas. The Senior Civil / Structural Engineer will be working directly with the directors and be involved in the whole design stages including vocational site visits. The Senior Civil / Structural Engineer will have a degree within a Civil or Structural Engineering discipline as well as having 8 years+ experience. The Civil / Structural Engineer will be involved with the Design and checking of railway bridges, refurbishments, Civil design, lineside infrastructure and temporary works. Senior Civil / Structural Engineer Position Overview Provide efficient structural solutions Examine existing structures to determine if they are structurally sound and still fit for purpose Preparing structural calculations and reports Work closely with and mentoring Junior Engineers Work alongside technicians to provide calculations, sketches and general guidance Work closely with project managers Site visits, examining existing steelwork Work on a range of projects including residential and industrial Liaise with clients.
