Embedded Firmware and Software Engineer required for a growing manufacturer of detection systems, based in the Hull area. Due to the continual growth, the Embedded Firmware and Software Engineer will join an engineering team, in helping deliver the next generation of world-leading devices. The successful candidate will be degree qualified within an Electronics / Electrical / Software engineering subject. Both industry experienced candidates and graduates, will be considered for the role. Embedded Firmware And Software Engineer Position Overview Design, implementation and testing of code to generate and control FSK and QPSK modulated RF transmissions. Research, design, develop, and test the companies' projects and designs. Maintenance of legacy production designs including code optimisation as needed. Have a customer centric focus, be able to put yourself in the customer's shoes and translate that back to product and commercial outcomes. Working regularly on PCB design and software programming. Embedded Firmware And Software Engineer Position Requirements A Degree, served in an Engineering / Electronic / Software field of study. Experience of engineering RF products with a focus on Analogue/Digital Electronics and DSP. Knowledge of PCB design and layout. Experience of MATLAB, Simulink and C++. ARM knowledge, ideally Silicon Labs embedded. Based in a commutable distance of Hull Full UK driving license Embedded Firmware And Software Engineer Position Remuneration Salary: £20,000 to £40,000 - largely dependent on experience.
