Engineering Scheduler / Service Coordinator Location: Portland, Dorset Salary:£15.38 - £17.94 (£30,000 - £35,000 Pro Rata) Contract: 6-Month Contract with Potential Permanent Opportunity Morson Talent are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Engineering Scheduler / Service Coordinator to join a busy operational team supporting engineering and maintenance activities.This role would suit someone with a mechanical or engineering background looking to move off the tools into an office-based role, or someone with previous experience in scheduling, coordination or operations support within an engineering environment. The Role You will support the planning and coordination of engineering works, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently and operational reports are reviewed and updated accurately. The role requires someone who is organised, IT savvy and confident working with systems, reports and operational data.Key Responsibilities Planning and coordinating engineering and maintenance works Reviewing, updating and analysing operational reports Coordinating engineers, resources and job allocation Reviewing risk assessments and method statements Maintaining accurate records and system updates Supporting reporting and operational improvement activitiesLiaising with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery What We're Looking For Mechanical or engineering background preferred Experience within scheduling, planning, service coordination or operations support Strong IT skills including Excel Experience using Dynamics or Business Central would be advantageousComfortable reviewing reports and working with data Strong communication and organisational skills Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and transition into a coordination-focused role within a technical environment, with long-term potential for the right candidate.TPBN1_UKTJ
