An established and highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their growing team in the New Forest. The practice delivers a broad range of building surveying and project management services across the residential and commercial sectors, working on projects ranging from historic buildings and heritage properties through to modern developments.Senior Building Surveyor Salary&Benefits Salary:£48,000 - £60,000 pa (DOE) Hybrid working Company vehicle - use of pool cars for business travel 21 days annual leave + bank holidays Additional 3 days leave during Christmas office closure Employee assistance programme Group life insurance policy Bonus potential Career progression opportunitiesEnhanced packages available for business-generative candidates Senior Building Surveyor Job Overview As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of professional and project-led building surveying services across residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will manage projects from inception through to completion while supporting client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the consultancy.Key responsibilities will include: Conducting condition surveys, measured surveys and defect analysis Preparing specifications, schedules of work, reports and tender documentation Contract administration and project management duties Managing refurbishment, restoration and maintenance projectsLiaising with clients, contractors and local authorities Advising on compliance, building regulations and construction-related matters Supporting business development and generating new opportunities Mentoring junior staff and working collaboratively within the wider team Senior Building Surveyor Job RequirementsMRICS or AssocRICS preferred Minimum 3 years' PQE preferred Consultancy experience within building surveying Strong knowledge of building pathology and construction technology Experience across residential and commercial sectors Good understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts Excellent written and verbal communication skillsFull UK driving licence Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
