Principal Contaminated Land Consultant - Inverness

A leading environmental consultancy, who specialise in Remediation and Spill Response, are seeking a Principal Contaminated Land Consultant for one of their Regional offices in Inverness. A degree level academic background is required - preferably with a post graduate qualification in contaminated land and remediation. Chartership with a relevant environmental body would be advantageous. We are seeking expertise relating to detailed risk assessment for groundwater and human health, contaminated land assessment and remediation design and implementation. In addition to this, we are seeking an individual who can demonstrate leadership qualities and a track record of overseeing site based remediation teams and office based consultants. Job duties will vary between site based supervision of staff and office based technical oversight. Typically you will be involved with reporting, preparing bids and tenders, liaising with clients, operational management for site teams, office management for junior members of staff. There will be a degree of flexibility offered for home based working with site visits and the successful applicant will be expected to manage their own diary effectively.
