Job Title: Mechanical Modifications Technicians
Job Location: Inverness
Hourly Pay Rate: 23.50 PAYE / 29.98 Umbrella (+ 1.28 P/H Umbrella retainer)
Shifts: Minimum of 50 hours a week.
Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri 07:00 - 17:00
Duration: 3 Months Minimum (potential for extension)
Start Date: ASAP

Position Summary:
Working at a live Rail Depots we require Mechanical Modifications Technicians who will be engaged for the implementation of a sanding box modification on the Class
Duties could include the following:
* Carrying out modifications primarily on the underframes of the vehicles and interior aspects
* Renewal of fasteners (washers, nuts and bolts)
* Tightening of Threaded fasteners (torque loading)
* Carrying out inspections and checks to ensure work completed to correct standard.
* Carrying out work recording via both paperwork and computer
* Protection of components

Personal Profile
* Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in an Mechanical discipline or similar.
* Experience of Mechanical works on Vehicles such as Trains, Aircraft, Marine Vessels, plant, agricultural machinery, Cars, Trucks or Busses.
