An exciting opportunity is available for anexperienced Social Workerto join aCommunity Review Teambased in the beautiful region ofLothian. This role is initially offered for12 weeks, with astrong likelihood of extension, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact throughdirect payment reviews under Option 1 Self-Directed Support.

You will be primarily based atJohn Muir House, Haddington, with aflexible blend of office and home working. As the role involves travel acrossEast Lothian, afull UK driving licence is essential.

What you will do:

• Undertake comprehensive reviewsfor individuals receivingOption 1 Self-Directed Support direct payments
• Assess care arrangements, ensuring support remains appropriate, effective, and outcome-focused
• Work collaborativelywith multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality review outcomes
• Produce clear, accurate documentation, including recommendations for changes or improvements to support
• Communicate effectivelywith service users, carers, and partner agencies
• Apply legislation and best practice, maintaining professional and statutory standards
