Welder Fabricator, Woodbridge

We have a permanent vacancy for a welder fabricator for an engineering firm in the Woodbridge area of Suffolk. The following company have seen a huge influx in orders over the past few months and are now in a position where they are struggling to meet demands. With orders confirmed going well into next year, they need an experienced welder fabricator who can come in & hit the ground running. They are offering a negotiable salary that is subject to the experience of the applicant. This position primarily involves fabrication of pipework, small brackets, base frames, and balustrades. You will mostly be welding mild steel, but you may also be required to TIG weld some aluminium products. The thicknesses could vary from 2mm - 30mm. The person will also be able to read and understand technical drawings as well as being able to cut and bend materials using guillotines & presses. Skills Required: NVQ/Diploma in Welding / Fabrication 5 years practical welding experience MIG welding background is essential Ability to read & work from engineering drawings on your own initiative Competent user with hand & power tool Some fabrication experiences Benefits: Free Parking On-site Training & development for future career progression 20 days holiday per year Hours of work are Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00, with an early finish on the Friday.
