Debt Management Executive – 12month Contract, Ipswich

We have a fantastic opportunity available working for a leading financial organisation, who are currently seeking to appoint a commercially minded and proactive individual to join their team as a Debt Management Executive. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to utilise their skills and knowledge within a forward-thinking company. ** THIS ROLE IS INITALLY A 12 MONTH CONTRACT * Reporting to the Collections Manager the successful Collections Officer will be responsible for: * Supporting and assisting in the delivery of an effective collections strategy in order to provide an efficient service * Ensuring all customers are treated fairly and provided with affordable solutions for any financial difficulties * Taking a proactive approach and positive action to maximise collections and minimise losses * Ensuring that collection, litigation and possession activities are in line with policy and procedures and in accordance with the relevant financial services regulations * Assist and support management with more serious or complex arrears or repossession cases as required * Administration and posting of payments and charges including BACS payments and debit card payments * Continuously develop own experience and knowledge in new areas of process and regulation to enhance performance, and be proactive in the contribution of new ideas to help improve processes For your application to be considered, you must have a sound work history with recent and relevant experience gained from a collections or debt management based role. It is essential that you have demonstrable skills and experience in best practice recovery techniques, along with the ability to proactively overcome objections and successfully problem solve. Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for providing a first-class professional service is paramount. Due to the nature of the role and the industry, it is essential that you have a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grades A-C, including Maths & English (or the equivalent), and that you will pass all relevant referencing, credit history and criminal record checks.
