Destination Ipswich Employer Independent Recruiter Prosper Hospitality Recruitment Limited Salary £22,(Apply online only) Job Title Head of Housekeeping 7am ? 3pm The Opportunity Prosper Recruitment are actively seeking a permanent Head of Housekeeping for a stunning medium sized hotel located in Ipswich, Suffolk. You must have previous experience within Housekeeping, you will have a good working knowledge within a high-quality establishment and will be able to manage and lead by example of the team of 15 staff. The Role * Managing the clean down and turn round of the 80 modern contemporary bedrooms * Responsible for stock control and ordering, dealing with external suppliers to ensure best price and quality in terms of products including linen and laundry * Distribution of tasks and goods i.e linen, cleaning products and keys to your team of Housekeepers * Managing the rotas for the team, liaising with other Heads of Departments to ensure guests and clients are not disturbed by the House cleaning team where possible * Inspection of rooms and areas to ensure SOP are achieved * The role will require the Head Housekeeper to cover 5/ 7 You must live in the Ipswich area or being happy to relocate and source your own accommodation.
