Trustee with financial experience - Volunteer, Watlington

The Watlington club sits at the heart of the community and offers a range of activities to people for well-being and leisure. We are seeking a Trustee to be our Treasurer and support other Trustees in caring for the interests of the club.

The role of our Treasurer is a central role and offers the opportunity to act as a key member of the team, supporting other Trustees as we work together for the community. The Treasurer's role is critical to ensuring that we make best use of the limited resources available to us.

First and foremost we need someone with financial skills. The person may have been an accountant or a business manager. They will be able to work independently in their specialist area and as part of a team in a collaborative way.

Hybrid

The board is made up of General Trustees and the Chairs of the main sections of Bowls, Squash, and Tennis. We are in need of a new Treasurer following the resignation of our previous long‑serving Treasurer. The accounts are well maintained and always submitted on time. We meet as a Board once a month, usually online. We are an enthusiastic but small group and would welcome someone who wants to make a difference to a small but growing community.
