Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media and Events Manager to lead our digital presence and coordinate engaging events that elevate our brand. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events including banquets, fundraisers, guest services initiatives, and hospitality functions.
• Manage event logistics from initial planning through execution, ensuring seamless operations and positive guest experiences.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, caterers, and other partners to secure favorable terms.
• Upsell services such as catering packages or event enhancements to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Oversee budgeting for events, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling content for social media channels that aligns with branding goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service during events by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Coordinate with internal teams including catering, banquet staff, and hotel services to ensure smooth event operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event marketing, event planning, or hospitality industries such as restaurants, hotels, or catering services.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to establish beneficial contracts and partnerships.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and exceptional organizational abilities.
• Experience in upselling and marketing strategies to enhance revenue streams.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Knowledge of banquet operations, guest services, and hospitality best practices is preferred.
• Prior experience in fundraising or guest relations is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time
