Warehouse Operative, West of England

Kuehne + Nagel provides a production support service package and through‑life support for Leonardo Helicopters that includes goods receipt, quality inspection, storage, picking & packing. Centres co‑located with the end user deliver store‑to‑fitment service.

• Support day‑to‑day warehouse and supply chain tasks as required to support the service contract.
• Ensure all related tasks within the business units are carried out in line with contracted customer requirements/working instructions.
• If required, be part of the AOG rota to fulfil customers’ out‑of‑hours requirements.
• Operate all MHE, including forklift trucks (training provided), as required to fulfil the unit output.
• Act as building lock‑up and conduct security checks as required.
• Be prepared to commit to flexible working hours between 07:30 and 21:59 within contracted hours.
• Conduct warehouse processes in line with the role of a warehouse operative.
• Adhere to company health & safety procedures, particularly regarding machinery and protective devices.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects and ideas.
• Carry out any additional tasks as agreed with the team leader.

• Totally flexible and willing to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and a “right‑first‑time” approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience operating MJDI/SAP is desirable but not essential.
• Confidence within a busy, diverse working environment and ability to prioritise tasks daily.
• Computer‑literate with training in MS Office Suite.
• Full driving licence and willingness to operate MHE (including forklift).
• Willingness to undergo security check clearance.
• Good housekeeping skills.
