Early Years Nursery Assistant, Lancaster

The Manager of a Nursery School in Lancaster is looking for a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Assistant to join their team.

This role starts in May and is to support Tuesday to Fridays each week, 8-4. The nursery is able to be flexible with these hours.

• Provide support to children within the nursery
• Monitor and report on children's progress
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
• Promote and support positive behaviour strategies across the nursery

• Level 2 or 3 Early Years and Child Care Qualification
• Previous experience working with nursery‑aged children
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
• Copy of original qualifications before any placement
