What you will do:

• Performmicrobiological analysison a wide range of clinical samples to support diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure all testing complies withquality assurance and laboratory standards
• Maintain and operatelaboratory equipment, ensuring accurate calibration and functionality
• Work collaboratively within amultidisciplinary teamto support effective patient care
• Support and supervisejunior staff and students, contributing to training and development

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification inBiomedical Science
• HCPC registration
• Minimum oftwo years'experience in microbiology
• Competence inmicrotomy
• Strong understanding oflaboratory quality standards and procedures

Applicants must beHCPC registeredwith proven experience working within amicrobiology laboratory. Adriving licence is desirable, supporting ease of travel where required. You should be confident working independently while contributing effectively within a team-based laboratory environment.
