This award winning and nationally recognised specialist school offers education for those 5- 19 years with a SEN or complex need. They currently support 90+ learners and are fully subscribed. This setting offers the opportunity to learn new skills, learn life skills, build confidence and achieve educational goals like GCSE, A Levels and vocational courses. This setting is currently recruiting for a 1:1 teaching assistant to work 1:1 with their learners. In this role you can change lives and do so while working in a supportive and friendly environment with the best team possible. This role is needed Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30 pm and is a term time opportunity.

• Relevant childcare, teaching assistant or care experience (Must be able to provide references)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Experience supporting children or adults with SEN needs (desirable)
• Calm, nurturing and resilient individual
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

• Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
• Supporting the educational and general well being of SEN learners
• Promoting, encouraging and creating a fun and engaging learning environment
