Toals Bookmakers is hiring a full‑time Bookmaker Clerk in the Maghera area. This entry‑level position offers training and a clear path for progression.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist with bet processing, customer service, and daily shop operations. Shop hours are Monday‑Sunday, 9am‑9pm, with weekly rota‑based hours.

Responsibilities

• Process bets and handle cash transactions.
• Assist customers with queries and deliver excellent service.
• Work collaboratively within the team to support daily shop functions.
• Build relationships with customers to create a welcoming environment.
• Maintain high shop standards and overall cleanliness.

Qualifications – Essential

• Full UK clean driving licence.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work 7 days a week.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive team member.
• Demonstrable IT proficiency.
• Mathematics and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Previous customer‑facing or cash‑handling experience.

Qualifications – Desirable

• 5 GCSEs at grade C or above.
• Any additional IT credentials.

Contract & Salary

Full‑time; £13.20 per hour.
