With many decades of professional experience and a wealth of practical knowledge they are able to provide a range of professional services and advice on property related matters. They specialise in providing advice on rural land based schemes, property disposal, purchase and valuation and pride themselves on their knowledge and understanding of the rural economy and rural policy which they combine with  practical experience of farming, conservation, land management and rural business. The Role  Our client seeks a qualified Rural Surveyor to join a small rural professional team practicing in Devon and Somerset.  They have an established and varied client base and the need is for someone experienced to cover the existing workload whilst being given the opportunity to develop their own instructions. The role would suit someone looking to advance their career within a small diversified team, being responsible for managing themselves whilst being given the freedom and support to develop their own skills and interests. The work currently undertaken by the practice includes but is not limited to:- Rural Planning and Development Opportunities Estate Management Compensation Claims, Utilities and Telecoms BPS and Countryside Stewardship Valuations Landlord and Tenant General Professional Advice for Rural Clients The position will present an opportunity for an individual to grow within an existing successful rural practice, with further opportunities in the future for the right candidate Essential Requirements Qualified rural practice surveyor with 3-5 years post qualification experience FAAV qualified or working towards Fellowship RICS qualified Full UK driving licence Ambition and good work ethic Well-structured and organised A team player but also able to think on their own A desire to succeed and improve as an individual Rewards A competitive salary dependant on experience Training and subscriptions of RICS and FAAV along with any additional qualifications Opportunity to take over and established work load and progress career Holiday starting at 28 days per year including bank holidays Work based pension scheme Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
