White Label Recruitment are currently working with a Packaging Machinery client based in Leeds who have a vacancy for a Spare Parts Manager to join the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with engineering experience to join a small but rapidly growing machinery company. The business is family owned and therefore have a close-knit team, as such, there is a real emphasis on collaborative working. Over the last 5 years the company has doubled in size with the Directors predicting further growth over 2021 so this really is a great opportunity for someone to join a rapidly growing and emerging company. The Spare Parts Manager role is an office-based role with the company office based in Leeds. You will develop long-term customer relationships, pursue enquiries for spare parts, manage the stock of spare parts and you will report directly to the Engineering Manager. The company are a tight-knit, team-based company so teamwork is a key focus of the role. The role primarily involves: * Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with customers and delivery exceptional customer service. * Managing the spare parts stock inventory/levels and replenish with a logical and cost-effective system. * Negotiating buying prices and seek opportunities to reduce and keep costs as low as possible. * Keep accurate records of machinery and equipment serial numbers on customer sites. * Actively seek to generate new spares quoting opportunities. Strong candidates will be able to display the following: * Excellent communications skills. * The ability to write and respond to emails using excellent English/Grammar. * Computer literate including Microsoft Office, Database Management and CRM System Management * An outgoing team player. * Exceptional organisational skills. * Negotiation Skills. * Self-Motivation. * The ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines. * Problem solving. * Experience working within the Engineering/Machinery industry (preferred) * Technical engineering education (preferred) The remuneration package for this role is laid out below: * Salary: £25,000-£30,000 * Commission structure: Yearly bonus dependent on company performance * Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays * Pension: Pension scheme 4% employer contribution and 5% employee minimum contribution. * Other benefits: Company life insurance and great company culture.
