Financial Controller / Senior Management Accountant, Leeds

Our client is a high-growth market leading SaaS business based near Thorpe Park in Leeds and due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant / Financial Controller to join the rapidly expanding team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly varied role where you will ensure the smooth operation of the finance division ensuring all management accounts are completed to an excellent standard and supporting the wider team. You will be a key support to the business in the provision of high-quality business analysis and reporting to assist in understanding the financial performance and key trends of the organisation. The role will encompass periodic management reporting, planning, and forecasting, budgeting, business case preparation, and analysis in accordance with strategic priorities and year-end duties. Your Competencies * Hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) * Knowledge and/or experience of IFRS reporting standards and requirements * Significant post qualified experience in a similar role * Excellent knowledge of Sage packages * Strong technical accounting knowledge and skills * Strong analytical and forecasting skills * Advanced Excel skills and experience of other financial systems * Proven experience of financial forecasting and management accounting This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic business at an exciting time of growth and interviews are ongoing so apply now
