Mechanical Estimator, BA1

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Estimator to join a highly respected and very successful M&E Building Services contractor who provide Mechanical and Electrical installation services across multiple sectors including, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Residential, Government Offices, Banks, Schools, Leisure, Hotels, Public Buildings, Care Homes and Healthcare sectors etc with Contract values ranging from £50k up to £3m. Mechanical Estimator The position requires an individual capable of fulfilling a key position within their commercial department producing accurate Mechanical quotations. You will mainly be office based but will be required to travel to meet with existing and prospective clients in and around the South West. It is essential that you have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Mechanical Estimator. Main responsibilities will include: * Producing quotations to Mechanical Consultants, as well as Main Building Contractors * Commercial pricing of all Mechanical Tenders * Accurate quotations for each work application. * Technical submittals for clients upon request. The Person You should clearly be able to demonstrate the following: * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Have relevant industry qualifications * The ability to visualise schemes and fully understand components. * Able to identify commercial opportunities during quotation production * A strong work ethic with a can do attitude * Comprehensive previous experience in a similar role operating as a Mechanical Estimator Remuneration Package for the position of Mechanical Estimator Base salary: £45k - £54k depending on experience, plus Company Car, performance related Bonus Scheme and Pension.
