Specialist Recruitment Services UK Ltd are currently seeking an Adult Careers Adviser to join an established professional team. The role will be based from our Head Office in Rugby with you working with customers based across Coventry & Warwickshire, Birmingham & Solihull and the South West of England providing Careers & Employability advice services to individuals in 1-2-1 telephone based appointments alongside delivering the companies sector specific 'Employment Cafes' to small groups using Zoom. Your role will involve the delivery of an Education Skills Funding Agency backed program supporting adults in certain priority groups to progress their careers, enter training and then move in to employment. To be considered you will ideally have 12 months+ experience of working as a Careers Adviser, preferably with QCF level 6 in Advice & Guidance (To be considered you must have at least a level 4 Advice and Guidance Qualification), having focused your experience to date within a non for profit or private sector organisation with the matrix quality standard for information advice and guidance services. You will have excellent IT skills, and ideally have expereince of using Zoom as an educational / classroom tool. You will be using CRM systems to plan, manage and evidence your delivery of support and outcomes to your customers. Both involve constant updating due to the real time nature of record keeping and a typing speed of 60 wpm is also essential due to the requirement to produce candidate appraisal and strategy documents within the 60-90 minute appointment time. You will be responsible for maintaining high customer service levels working directly with our key clients / stakeholders on a day to day basis. The role is intially offered on a 6 month fixed term contract but extension and the potential of a permanent contract would be made available to the right applicants after this initial period.
