Quality Manager Salary - up to £53,000 + car allowance + Benefits I currently have an opportunity for an experienced construction Quality Manager to join a cash rich leading construction health care developer. You will be joining at an exciting time as the company is growing and have a number of exciting new projects starting in the Uk. Due to the nature of the role you will be able to manage your own time to include visiting construction sites nationwide working from home and visiting head office in Worcestershire once a week for meetings. The Quality Manager Job role will include the following duties: Inspecting construction work and comparing it with drawings and specifications Measuring and quality checking building materials Identify problems in advance to prevent them materialising or mitigate if they do occur. Identifying defects and suggesting ways to correct them Monitoring progress and reporting to construction managers and Directors on a weekly basis on a formal and informal basis Keeping detailed weekly contemporaneous records of work Referring to contract documents and taking photographs of work Liaising with contractors, engineers and surveyors on site as well as colleagues in the Employer team Checking that building regulations, health and safety, and CDM requirements are met Working between an office and construction sites.The successful Quality Manager will have the following experience and skills: Working in a similar role for a construction company Knowledge of building and construction methods and standards Working knowledge of JCT D&B Contract Be thorough and pay attention to detail Client interaction skills Able to use your initiative, patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations Able to analyse quality or performance Able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device Flexible to work from home and travel to sites around the UkRemuneration: Dependent upon experience, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn up to £53,000 per annum with a car allowance of £6500 plus many other benefits Please apply with an up to date CV to (url removed)
