Nelson Recruitment Services are urgently recruiting for Counterbalance Drivers for our client based in Minworth, Birmingham. Available hours Monday to Friday: 11:00am - 20:00pm Pay rates: Afternoons: £8.72 first 12 weeks, £10.64 after 12 weeks You will be responsible for: * Driving a Counter Balance FLT to load and unload trailers (straight frame and double decker?s) in a very fast paced warehouse environment. * Moving various palletised goods to designated locations using counterbalance truck * Using barcode scanners * Meeting targets/KPI?s * The health and safety of yourself on the truck and others around you The Ideal candidate must have: - A minimum of 1 years? experience on the Counter Balance FLT truck. - A full in date accredited counterbalance license. - Confidence in all aspects of FLT driving IMPORTANT: An assessment will be held previous to employment. It will take 1 hour and is broken down into 3 sections these being: - Theory test - Pre-shift inspection (questions regarding the FLT Truck) - Practical test. - Drug and Alcohol test will be performed on induction to any successful candidates and also a medical pre screen on arrival.
