CAD Design Manager, Yorkshire and the Humber

CAD Design Manager Full Time, Permanent £40k-£50k p.a (circa) North East England The successful CAD Design Manager will be experienced working on exterior commercial building projects. You will have great ability when it comes to producing highly detailed technical drawings for largescale projects, as well as being confident in your ability to manage projects from concept through to completion stages. You will be the go-to person in the Design department and will be a natural leader with the responsibility of 4 other CAD Designers. You will be working on multiple projects and managing the process of the design from initial concept to finish. You will also be proficient using design programmes such as AutoCAD or Revit. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that enable their staff to continuously progress and consistently learn new skills Position Overview Working on large scale commercial projects Managing projects from concept through to completion stages Producing detailed drawings for mid to largescale projects Working on programmes with design programmes such as AutoCAD Monitor design progress on a weekly basis Attend design meetings Lead a team of 4 other DesignersRequirements Experience working with AutoCAD Experienced managing relationships with clients Have the ability to produce detailed technical drawings Must have excellent decision-making skills MUST have experience with external building envelopes MUST have experience with façade design Good product knowledge of Cladding and curtain walling systems A high level of IT skills, proficient in Microsoft office to include Microsoft Excel Be able to prioritise, plan and organise workloads whilst in a busy environment Good communication and inter personnel skillsThis is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30am (flexible start and finish times) plus annual discretionary bonus and 33 days holiday (including bank) Salary is £40,000 - £50,000 P.A depending on experience If this position sounds like you, then please apply within or forward your CV to Adam at Coulter Elite Resourcing
